With everyone in Jefferson District boys basketball facing a win-or-go-home scenario, Western Albemarle took care of business on its end to snag an easy 73-49 victory over Powhatan on the road.
The Warriors got a balanced scoring effort on the night with Chase Stokes leading the way with 17 points while Sam Chisholm and Eli Sumpter notched 16 points each.
Chris Deleon led Powhatan with 20 and Joe Balcolm finished with 15.
The Warriors will head to Charlottesville Wednesday night at 7:30 for another must-win game.
