The Western Albemarle tennis team worked its way one step closer to another Jefferson District championship. The Warriors handed Goochland a 6-0 loss in the JD semifinals as Cam Scot, Alex Preve and Will Diamond each picked up 10-0 wins. Teddy Nelson, Andrew Loving and Tom Lewis rounded out the winners on the day as they each took their matches by at least eight points.
Western (17-0) host the JD final today at 5 p.m.
