The VISAA Football Points poll is out for week six and the rankings are finally starting to make some sense.
Woodberry Forest isn’t included in this poll because the Tigers don’t compete for the VISAA championship. Covenant is currently rated ninth in Division III. The D-I rankings make Friday’s tilt between St. Christopher’s and Fork Union a critical game with regards to the state playoff picture. St. Anne’s-Belfield also has some work to do, but the Saints’ schedule includes games with local rivals Covenant and Blue Ridge later in October that could vault STAB back into playoff position.
