STAB, Woodberry and Western send players to National Lacrosse Classic

A showcase tournament for collegiate coaches to scout talent, the Adidas National Lacrosse Classic brings together 20 different teams from all over the country to compete from Monday through Thursday. And in this tournament Central Virginia will be well represented.

The Washington DC team is loaded with local products. Coming from St. Anne’s-Belfield are Andrew Crockett, Shane Palmateer, Branford Rogers, Charles Schreck and Charles Sipe. The VISAA Division 1 runnerups will be joined by a handful of rivals including Woodberry Forest’s Mark Monroe and Western Albemarle’s Abbott Wallenborn. Saints junior Ian Robertson rounds out the Central Virginia participants. However, he will be playing for Carolina.
