It’s time once again for the Central Virginia Elite Combine presented by Athelite Factory and Scrimmage Play. Now in its third year, the combine measures some of Central Virginia’s top football talent against one another in key combine measurables. It’s an incredible learning opportunity for local football standouts who’d like to get points on the combine process. The CVEC is scheduled for Saturday April 12th with registration starting at 10 a.m. at Monticello High School.
The CVEC is the place where we at Scrimmage Play got our first up close look at talents like Rashard Davis and Dashon Tibbs in 2012, players who are now playing football at James Madison and Richmond respectively. Last year was another strong field that included a slew of top notch underclassmen who are still going through the college recruiting process. We’re thrilled to be hosting the event again this year and we’re looking forward to all the local talent coming out April 12th. You can register via the link below and bring a registration fee of $50 (cash or check) to the event.
Registration is currently scheduled for 10 a.m. and then the event will begin at 11 a.m. We’ll have a full schedule of events coming up soon.
