Ragland powers Buckingham past William Campbell

When Leon Ragland is in a groove on the ground, he’s nearly impossible to stop.

That’s exactly what William Campbell found out Friday night in a 55-12 loss as Ragland piled up 298 yards and six touchdowns on just 16 touches.

Ragland handled the vast majority of a 449-yard night on offense by the Knights, with Rajheem Holman chipping in with 78 yards on the ground. Holman also had a 51-yard punt return for a touchdown. B.J. Gough completing his lone pass of the night for 23 yards.

Hunter Edwards had that catch for 23 yards from Gough and also had a fumble recovery, one of three by the Knights on the night with Michael Mabry and Kyaire Chambers picking up the others.

Gough led the Knights with six tackles on the night.

Buckingham (2-1) travels to Nottoway Friday looking to pick up its third win of the season.
