Patriots girls tennis rolls to win over Mountain View

While the score was familiar, the lineup was shaken up. The Albemarle girls tennis team picked up another 9-0 win over Mountain View, but gave some valuable playing time to its lower end of the ladder.

Senior Yvonne Zhang and freshman Alison Henry each made the most of their matches, with Zhang winning a high strung contest 11-10 (7-5) while Henry made quick work of her opponent in a 10-0 win.

In doubles, Albemarle coach Rich Lindsay also mixed up the order. Stacy Hahn paired up with Maddi McCullough and earned a 10-3 victory to complete the sweep.

“I’m proud of the win at number three because I don’t usually get the chance to play that spot,” Hahn said.  “It’s good experience.”
