Orange’s Justice set to become a Cavalier

Derek Justice has settled on where he’ll play college baseball, and the Orange County star won’t have to travel far

According to the Freelance-Star in Fredericksburg, Justice, a senior who posted a 1.25 ERA for the Hornets last year, will pitch for Brian O’Connor’s Virginia club. Justice is reported to have chosen the Cavaliers over Virginia Tech, Old Dominion and Clemson.

In the spring, Justice formed a formidable duo on the hill with JMU-bound D.J. Brown, and helped Orange put together a 21-3 record before a loss to eventual champion Poqouson on the road in the state quarterfinals ended the Hornets’ run.
