Megan Napolitano earned herself a spot in the Group AAA singles tournament with a pair of wins in the Northwest Region quarter and semifinals.
The Albemarle junior cruised past Allison Link of Patrick Henry before handling Juliana Jacangelo of Loudoun Valley. Napolitano will face Isabelle Travis out of Forest Park in the NW finals today at 10 a.m.
Then in the doubles portion of the tournament, Napolitano and Lesnoff knocked off their opponents from Halifax. The win qualifies the two for the Group AAA tournament for the second straight season.
