Madison volleyball caps unbeaten regular season

Madison County volleyball’s perfect regular season is complete.

Now it’s on to the playoffs.

The Mountaineers moved to 20-0 Thursday night with a 3-0 sweep of George Mason, completing their perfect run through the regular season. Sheridan Santinga’s 10 kills and four aces led the way while Logan Coates also chipped in a strong overall night with seven kills, three aces and 13 digs.

Bailey Colvin triggered the offense with 30 assists while also chipping in three aces and seven digs. Cassity Lacy finished with six kills on the evening and Jenna Grace Kelliher had seven digs.

The Mountaineers move on to the postseason now, starting with the Bull Run District tournament next week.
