Madison County advanced in Region B play with a 3-0 sweep of Riverheads Tuesday night, winning 25-19, 25-14 and 25-17.
The Mountaineers (14-10) now take on Altavista Thursday in a regional semifinal on the road.
Tori Puryear led Madison offensively with 17 kills and five blocks. Samantha Cubbage and Caitlyn Ford had 19 and 13 digs each to anchor the defense, while setter Jordan Aylor set the table with 21 assists on the night.
