Samantha Cubbage and Tori Puryear played a big role in Madison County volleyball’s impressive season during the fall. Now they’re getting it done during soccer.
Madison County’s girls soccer team beat Rappahannock County in the Bull Run District quarterfinals 8-0. Cubbage led the way for the No. 3 seeded Mountaineers with three first half goals and Tori Puryear recorded her 10th shutout of the season in goal.
Madison (14-2-1) will play No. 2 seed Clarke County on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at George Mason High. The two teams split their regular season games.
