Madison’s boys basketball team battled back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Page County 65-62 for the Mountaineers’ first win of the year.
Madison exploded for 26 points in the 4th quarter to grab the win. Travis Warren led the way for Madison finishing with a game high 22 points, including a 4-for-4 stint at the line in the final 15 seconds.
Patrick Roebuck finished with 18 points and Nick Paxton added 13 more including a huge 3-pointer with 2 minutes to go to trim the Page lead to two points.
Madison (1-2) will host Luray on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
