Charlottesville girls soccer shuts out Louisa

Charlottesville girls soccer picked up another victory Thursday night, knocking off Louisa County 6-0.

The Black Knights jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead to put some distance between themselves and the Lions. Charlottesville kept the pressure on with 21 total shots.

Abigail Intolubbe-Chmil scored a pair of goals and registered an assist to lead the Black Knights attack. Seniors Mia O’Neill, Ellie Von Storch and Keli Wisbauer all chipped in goals too. Sophomore Althea Pickering rounded out the scoring for Charlottesville.

Saskia Owens dished out a pair of assists. Mary Hemenway and Kelsey Brownrigg also had assists.  

Charlottesville moves to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in Jefferson District while Louisa falls to 4-5 and 2-5 in the JD. The Black Knights host Monticello Monday while Louisa welcomes Fluvanna County April 25 after a short break.
