The road has been awfully good Buckingham County. Playing away for the third straight time, the Knights enjoyed a big day at the plate as they beat Nelson County 16-2.
Buckingham pitcher Libby Morris improved to 2-0 on the year and struck 11 batters while surrendering just a single walk.
Javannah Taylor was 3 for 4 and came up with a 3-run blast to highlight a 9-run sixth innning for Buckingham. Kaitlyn Allen went 2 for 3.
The Knights (3-0) will head to Varsity Spirit on Wednesday.
