Buckingham County made short work of Central Lunenburg Wednesday night, rolling 8-0.
The Knights got a high-powered offensive performance in the win, ignited by striker Mike Amos’ first half hat trick. Marco Kneczevic chipped in with a pair of goals while Peter Johnson, Matt Allmond and Charles Fenaux each scored once.
Defensively, Russell Taylor, Leroy Vincent, Jacob Hudgins and Daneesh Raji allowed only four total shots by Lunenburg. Jason Conway for Buckingham made two key saves to keep Lunenburg scoreless.
