Albemarle’s boys tennis team bounced back from their first loss of the season by blanking North Stafford, 9-0, Tuesday night. The top six lost just two games in singles and then swept the doubles matches.
Last week, Albemarle fell to EC Glass, 8-1. The loss appeared to serve as a wake up call for the Patriots, as they responded by playing some of their best tennis of the season against North Stafford.
Albemarle leads the Commonwealth District with an 8-0 record and will travel to Mountain View on Thursday.
