Spotswood made short work of Albemarle Wednesday night, rolling 13-3 over the Patriots in five innings.
Spotswood hit four home runs – including two by shortstop Kyle Weston and a grand slam by first baseman Austin Nicely. Jimmy Miller picked up the win for Spotswood on the mound. For Albemarle, Joe Burris had three hits and Lee Carneal had two.
