Warriors maintain top spot with 3-0 sweep of Fluvanna County, runner-up finish at Albemarle Invitational.

Patriots keep clipping along against improving Commonwealth District, pick up fourth place finish with narrow semifinal loss to archrival Western Albemarle.

Mustangs move back up a spot to tie Madison in poll, face Fluvanna County tonight.

Mountaineers knocked off Orange in Luray in strong week of action, giving them a sweep of the Hornets for the year.
5. William Monroe
Dragons beat Louisa in five games late last week, then beat Madison 3-0 on Monday.
6 (tied). Nelson County
Swept Amherst twice last week and won the Louisa County invite back in late August. Solid start for unbeaten Lady Governors.
6 (tied). Covenant
A match with LIS foe St. Anne’s-Belfield looms September 21.
8. Fluvanna County
Flucos finished seventh in tough Albemarle Invitational field, continue tough start to JD play tonight against Monticello.
9. Orange County
Hornets lost to Madison for second straight time.
10. St. Anne’s-Belfield
Saints finally got the season started and fell 3-1 to Trinity despite a seven kill, four block performance from Amanda Conner.
