After a couple of one-goal victories last week, Monticello put together a big night against a Louisa County squad in its first year of varsity play as the Mustangs rolled 6-0.
Monticello (2-1) got a pair of goals from Lydia Neuroth and three assists from Sarah Mitchell to power past the Lions. Allison Kennedy also had two assists.
Hannah Yates, Brittany Haun, Taylor Jarrell and Darcy Alimenti all had a goal each for the Mustangs. Paige Lipscomb had an assist.
Louisa County came up with 24 saves while facing an onslaught of Monticello shots.
Monticello hosts Charlottesville in an important Jefferson District showdown Thursday while Louisa hits the road to take on Orange County.
