Chance Mallory has posted some impressive stat lines in his career at St. Anne’s-Belfield, in big games and blowouts. He pieced together another one Wednesday night at home against Benedictine.

In a 95-69 dismantiling of Benedictine, Mallory scored 42 points, dished out seven assists and chipped in five boards and three steals for good measure. The senior point guard went 11-for-16 from beyond the arc in an efficient, red-hot shooting performance.

The Saints, who are now 14-3 and ranked No. 2 in VISAA’s Division I, also got big numbers from Carter Lang who posted a double double with 17 points and 14 boards as well as four assists. Desmond Roberts went for 17 points, four boards and two assists and Austin Williford scored 14 points, grabbed five rebounds, notched four assists and nabbed three steals.

The Saints play St. Christopher’s Friday in a Prep League clash before they square off with Blue Ridge next Tuesday night.
