Summer heats up for STAB’s Clark

St. Anne’s-Belfield running back Aaron Clark didn’t exactly get to enjoy a break this summer. Clark’s college search, like any number of other highly-regarded seniors, ramped up during the offseason and had the Garner, N.C. native checking into football camps across the south.

Clark checked into a number of prospect camps at various Division I schools, including Richmond, where the Spiders’ staff is very high on the star back. Last season, another STAB star, tight end Alex Asher, committed to Richmond before pulling out to accept a walk-on invite at North Carolina.

Clark is also drawing interest from Wake Forest (he attended Wake’s summer prospect camp), East Carolina and Georgia Tech. The senior is playing the waiting game right now with several of those schools and Virginia, but there’s a good chance offers will start rolling in soon.
