STAB boys and girls sweep Collegiate

St. Anne’s-Belfield boys basketball has some serious momentum going right now.

The Saints edged Collegiate on the road 37-34 Friday thanks to a Mesiah Woods 3-pointer from the top of the key in the final minute to win their third straight and sixth of their last seven.

That’s five wins in their last six games in the challenging Prep League too, giving the Saints a serious boost with three games left in the league slate.

Dalton Taylor led the Saints in the low-scoring struggle with 10 points while Woods had nine and Justin Taylor notched eight points. Carter Lang pulled down eight boards.

STAB will host Fork Union Tuesday night.
