New-look Miller boys roll past Tandem

Miller’s boys basketball team has been largely revamped this year and the Mavericks wasted little time showing exactly how well they can play, blowing out Tandem 108-32 Friday night at home.

Ant Davis and Austin Ball each posted 23 points to lead the way for the Mavericks. Davis also had four boards and three assists while Ball had three rebounds, three assists and five steals.

Jordan Horne notched 12 points and five steals, Jacob Rice had nine points and five rebounds and Ethan Delaurier had nine points and eight rebounds to go with three steals. Wilson Hagen finished with eight points, five rebounds and four steals.

Miller will face Hargrave Tuesday while Tandem will look to bounce back from a pair of losses this week when the Badgers take on Wakefield at home Friday.
