Monticello girls lacrosse blows past Fluvanna

Monticello’s girls lacrosse team ended a three-game skid with a 27-6 win Tuesday night on the road against Fluvanna.

 

Senior Paige McGlothlin poured in nine goals and dished out three assists while Caleigh Smith had four goals and two assists to power the Monticello offense. Kendall Smith finished with two goals and three assists, Mattie Lee had two goals and two assists and Josie Mallory had a goal and three assists.

 

Katie Stadler put together a goal and two assists and Amanda Mincer scored twice. Amaya Gibson and April Carter each had one goal and one assists while Tara Meissner, Ari Oliver, Megan Passerell and Tiffany Johnson each scored a goal.

 

Monticello (5-3) will jump back into action at home Saturday against Lee-Davis at 12:30 p.m.
