Miller girls drop Roanoke Catholic

Miller girls basketball hasn’t played that many games recently due in part to a 10-day break between their clash with Covenant on January 11th and a home win over St. Catherine’s on January 21. That can make it tough to find a rhythm and flow, but the Mavericks are clearly perservering, handling Roanoke Catholic 57-16 Tuesday night to move to 8-3 on the year.

The Mavericks got a pair of strong performances from Alary Bell who finished with 15 points and Larissa Cole who had 11. Brooklin Ingram notched another eight and Naomi Ryan had seven points.

Miller jumped out to an 18-5 lead at hte end of the first quarter and extended that advantage to 28-11 by halftime.
