In the same week that he help to set a course record, former Albemarle track star Zach Vrhovac and his fellow 4×800 teammates took home first place for Virginia on Friday night in New York at Madison Square Garden at the Millrose Games.
The Cavalier freshman ran the second leg of the race in 1:53 to help quide the school its first ever win at the Millrose Games with a total time of 7:32.49, one hundredth of a second shy of two seconds ahead of second place finisher New York AC.
