Fluvanna County’s boys basketball team put together a strong second half to pull away from Turner Ashby Tuesday night, rolling 70-61 past the Knights.
The Flucos scored 24 points in the third quarter, then another 21 in the fourth to help close the door on Turner Ashby.
Senior Andrew Pace scored 24 points for the Flucos to lead the way while freshman Kobe Edmonds notched 20 points in his varsity debut.
Walt Stribling finished with 14 points while John Rittenhouse had 10 points.
Alex Shipe led the Knights with 19 points on the night.
The Flucos face a quick turnaround as they host Waynesboro Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
Fluvanna girls drop Turner Ashby
Nevaeh Ivory led Fluvanna County girls with 16 points in a 40-36 win over Turner Ashby Tuesday night. Mya Wright finished with seven for the Flucos while Jules Shepherd and Khamare Steppe scored six points each.
The Flucos will travel to take on Waynesboro Wednesday night.
