Charlottesville boys basketball rolled past Monticello Friday night, beating the Mustangs 72-42 on senior night.
Nic Motley stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, eight assists and three steals while Zymir Faulkner finished with 14 points and five steals.
Jake Bowling scored eight points and grabbed seven boards while Lewis Tate had eight points.
The Black Knights will host Orange County Tuesday at home while the Mustangs host Powhatan the same night.
CHS girls drop Monticello
Charlottesville’s girls basketball team had four players reach double figures as the Black Knights knocked off Monticello 57-44 Friday night.
La’Kasia Calloway scored 11 points while Carmella Jackson, T.C. Younger and Kasey Lamb each had 10 points. Jess Antwi chipped in eight points and Kaniyah Key finished with four points.
The Black Knights move to 14-6 on the year and host Louisa Monday night while the Mustangs travel to take on Powhatan Tuesday.
