Someone finally tripped up Buckingham again.
The Knights fell in a low-scoring battle with Prince Edward County 46-44 ending an eight-game win streak by Buckingham.
Taylor Boyers had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Knights and Kevin Bolden checked in with eight points, two blocks and 10 boards, but Buckingham couldn’t hold off Prince Edward in the fourth quarter.
Tarian Ayers had 10 points while Harry Eldridge came up with four steals.
As part of a seven-game road swing, the Knights hit the road to take on Cumberland Tuesday before a Wednesday tilt with Nelson County.
