Buckingham boys keep rolling, take down Amelia

The wins keep piling up for Buckingham County, but for three of the fours quarters, the Knights got a solid game from Amelia County in a 81-65 road victory.

The Raiders took a two point lead going to the second quater, but quickly found themselves down by 11 points at the half. Buckingham won the next two quarters by two and three points to preserve the win.

Taylor Boyers continued his outstanding January by leading all scorers with 23 points while also hauling in 12 rebounds. Three other Knights joined Boyers in double-figures including B.J. Jones with 17, Harry Eldridge with 13 and Tarian Ayers with 11. Kevin Bolden had eight points, seven rebounds and four blocks.

Buckingham (11-1) travels to Prince Edward County today at 7:30 p.m.
