Blue Ridge boys rally past Middleburg

When you play Blue Ridge’s schedule, there are no nights off and you’ve got to find a different way to win each and every night.

Thursday, it was Jaden Frazier who got going inside and helped lift the Barons to a come-from-behind 68-62 win over Middleburg.

Frazier posted a double double with 18 points and 12 boards while Blue Ridge fought back from a 13-point third quarter deficit to edge the Dragons.

William Lee added 15 points for the Barons including a pair of 3-pointers. Michael Gray scored eight points and dished out five assists for the Barons while Andy Nwaoko scored 10 points, snagged six rebounds and had a couple of steals. Savion Helm scored eight points.

Blue Ridge went 13-for-18 from the free throw line as a team.

Blue Ridge (15-6) will take on Norview in the January Jam at Bishop Sullivan Saturday before facing off against Miller Monday night at 6 p.m. on the road.
